The Colorado River is one of the world’s hardest-working and most-loved rivers. Flowing for more than six million years, it is the lifeblood of the American West.
Today it no longer regularly flows to the sea.
But hope survives
If we can add a relatively small amount of water to the Delta — less than 1 percent of the river’s annual flow — we’ll be on our way to restoring 2,300 vital acres of wetland and riverside forest.
